Putting the microbes to work: Our special formulation begins by creating the ideal soil environment for microbial activty through flocculation (relaxing the soil). By adding new enzymes into this “relaxed” soil environment, we activate a flush of native microbes that were previously dormant. We also introduce BILLIONS of hand-selected microbes designed for soil health by pairing them with diverse carbon sources. This new environment of activated microbes creates more humus in the soil and a natural system of nutrient cycling.
As the crop seed or starter germinates and the roots reach out into the soil, the resident microbes adhere to the root structure forming a symbiotic relationship. Our microbes will feed off both our Sea Kelp and plant exudates (plant waste), giving the microbes the energy they need to colonize further and maintain balance.
NITROGEN: Natural Nitrogen is more readily absorbed by plants than Synthetic Nitrogen. This naturally occurring Nitrogen is captured from the atmosphere and converted to plant-available nitrogen in the root. Pro Microbes introduces and sustains the organisms capable of converting atmospheric nitrogen to ammonium nitrogen in the soil. These "free-living nitrogen fixers" tap into the 30,000 tons of Nitrogen gas over every acre.
PHOSPHORUS: Pro Microbes introduces and stimulates existing beneficial bacteria which "break free" insoluble reserves of "locked up" Phosphorus in the soil. Agricultural soils with a history of applied fertilizers contain large amounts of insoluble phosphate. Pro Microbes is able to solubilize these phosphate reserves leading to: increased yields, better quality harvests, increased root growth, quicker release of rock phosphate, and increased BRIX.
What exactly is PRO MICROBES ?
